In the 60's and 70's I spent a lot of my beach time on the Jersey Shore. Between Asbury Park and Seaside Park. Remember seeing the South Side Jonnnie in the 70's. From the 60's I just remember the local am station playing great songs. Never could get Tommy James and the shondels out of my head...my older cousin had the album and played all summer till the grooves wore out.. What a great time!

Best Beach? No questions, Ocean Drive, SC....Maybe not so much now but in the 60's and 70's, it was the greatest. Great music and lots of places to shag. Although SOS still has semi-annual festivals, maybe it is still the best!!!!!!

WOW..I got to think about it... A couple come to mind..west end of Freeport has always been a favorite..Great beach, great people, great music, great food.
